Rover Radio Code Service. You can get your code for your radio in just a few minutes, using our unique online Rover search system.
To get a radio code you can either use the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) beginning with SARR or SAXX or you can use the 14 digit serial number beginning with RG, MG, VD, BP, AL or AR.
You will find the VIN inside your Vehicle Registration Document (V5) or on the windscreen or MOT Certificate, you will find the serial number on the CD or cassette player on a label or etched into the metal, you will have to remove the unit from the dashboard to locate it using a set of Rover Radio Release Keys.
Our online Code service covers the Rover 100, Rover 200, Rover 213, Rover 214, Rover 216, Rover 220, Rover 25, Rover 400, Rover 416, Rover 45, Rover 600, Rover 75, Rover 800, Rover Metro, Rover Streetwise, which includes the Philips, Blaupunkt, Alpine & VDO units.

Please note if you choose to use the VIN, we only supply the original code for the unit fitted to the vehicle from new, if you are using the serial number to get the code we will only supply the orignal code for the CD or cassette player.

Locate the 14 digit serial number beginning with RG, BP, VD, MG. AL or KE this will look similair to RG594FY1042123 or BP0263Y4021370, The serial number can be found on a label, which is located on the top or side of the CD or cassette player casing.
To view the label you will need to remove the CD or cassette player from the dashboard. This is very easy to do. You may need to purchase a set of Rover Radio Release Keys; you can purchase these from us by telephone.
